Hi.
I'm 15 days away from heading down to the airport and flying over to Utah to begin --what I am going to cliché-ly describe as-- the rest of my life. I'll be living in Ivins, Utah for a month (July 17th-August 14th). I decided that while I'm there I will document my experiences via blog, mostly for my own reflection but also so that you can follow my every move. This blog is going to be filled with honesty. I will be writing every single detail that I find important, from my measurements and daily routines to any advice that I pick up along the way.
A few things I should explain about myself (incase you are going to be attending fitness ridge in the future and happened to find this blog), and about fitness ridge (incase you have actually no idea what i'm talking about at all):
My name is Sierra, and I'm 18 years old from Valley Cottage, NY. I'm going to be a sophomore at SUNY Oswego in the fall. I've wanted to go to Fitness Ridge for a while, but never really thought I'd end up getting a chance to go! I'm so excited (and nervous) to see what's to come. Basically all I know about Fitness Ridge is what you can find on the website (&other blogs).
Monday-Saturday: 6-7 hours of exercise a day.
I'm pretty sure we have to wake up at 6 a.m. on these days, so it should be interesting to see how my sleep schedule adjusts. (Julia, I'm going to be going to bed earlier than you do!)
Also, I should add that everyone at FR is on a 1200 calorie diet. And i'm going to guess that they don't have glacé there, either...
Anyways, I'll be updating with workout schedule and meal plans for each day mostly. I'm sure I'll meet some interesting people along the way, too!
